The Search for Slow, Honest Beauty
Why We Started Pristine Forests
For years, we noticed something missing in the self-care world. Skincare was becoming louder, faster, and more performative. Every week a “miracle” ingredient. Every month a new routine. Everything felt like a race. But beauty - real beauty - was never meant to be hurried.
So we asked ourselves:
What if we slowed down?
What if every product felt like taking a breath?
What if beauty could be honest again?
That question became the seed of Pristine Forests, and we set out to create a brand built on principles we truly believed in: clean ingredients, honest processes, and a more sustainable way of caring for ourselves and the earth.
Born From Nature, Rooted in Ritual

We grew up around Indian rituals - herbal steam bowls in winter, mitti attars dabbed behind the ears, rose water splashed on the face after long days in the sun. These weren’t “treatments.” They were moments. Simple, grounding, soothing.
But somewhere along the way, beauty became a checklist.
We wanted to return to the old way of doing things, where your skin, senses, and spirit were all taken care of together.
At Pristine Forests, we choose botanicals the way families choose ingredients in a kitchen: carefully, seasonally, and with deep respect. Not because it sounds good in marketing, but because we genuinely believe that what touches your skin should come from a place of purity.
Honest Formulations, Crafted Thoughtfully
Another reason we started this journey? Transparency. We also decided to craft slowly. Not mass-produced. No products that promise to whiten things, vanish certain others, or overwhelm just because the market expects it. Each formulation at Pristine Forests goes through the gentle balance of traditional wisdom and modern science - so what you get is not just effective, but deeply considered.
A Return to Slow Beauty
Slow beauty isn’t about buying less.
It’s about feeling more: more grounded, more connected, more at ease in your own skin.
Pristine Forests exists to remind you that your self-care doesn’t need to be rushed. It can be a ritual.
This is why we started - to do self-care that feels indulgent, pure and slow. And we hope as you explore our world, you feel the same sense of calm that inspired us in the first place.
